Inviting a client to CI Direct Investing only takes a few minutes and can be done in a few simple steps.
- Click on the Invite Client option in the centre of your dashboard. If you already have clients, this will appear in the top right.
- If it is your first client invitation, you will be asked to verify the email you used to open your account.
- The screen below will appear. Fill in your client's information, the planning fee you plan to charge, and a personalised message (if you want). Send your first invitation.
What email does my client receive?
I'm glad you asked. A picture is worth a thousand words so we have provided you a series of them below that will show you your client's experience:
1. The initial email will prompt the client to Open an account at CI Direct Investing.
2. They will be asked to input an email and password. This email will be used as their account login and how we communicate with your client. Note that each email can only be associated with one individual.
3. They will be asked to Agree and Continue with the Financial Planning Service Fee Agreement and the service fee you and the client have agreed upon.
4. Once your client has agreed to the terms and conditions, they will start the New Account Opening process at CI Direct Investing. You can find out how by clicking the link.
