CI Direct Investing will reimburse administrative transfer fees up to $150 on transfers over $25,000. These transfer fees are charged to the client by the relinquishing institution when their account is transferred to CI Direct Investing.
If your client is eligible for a transfer fee reimbursement for a recent transfer, please send us a copy of their statement showing the fee to [email protected]. We will apply the fee rebate to the receiving CI Direct Investing account
Some important details regarding our transfer fee reimbursements:
- We do not reimburse fees relating to deferred sales charges, trading fees, or account closure fees.
- Each client account will only be eligible for one reimbursement.
- Eligible transfer fee reimbursements take 2 weeks to process.
